Brewing Guide

Brewing Guide for Keurig K-Cup Machines

Keurig Compatibility: This pod is optimized for all standard Keurig 2.0 and classic K-Cup brewers. Simply insert the pod into your machine and select your desired brew size.

Recommended Brew Size: 6 oz — this volume best balances extraction and highlights the coffee's delicate florals and nuanced complexity.

Water Temperature: Keurig machines brew at approximately 192–197°F (89–91°C), which is ideal for preserving the floral aromatics of this single-origin coffee.

Brewing Instructions:
1. Fill your Keurig water reservoir with fresh, filtered water.
2. Insert the K-Cup pod into the brew basket.
3. Close the lid and select the 6 oz brew setting.
4. Press brew and allow the machine to complete its cycle (approximately 1–2 minutes).
5. Remove the pod and enjoy immediately.

Tasting Tip: Allow the brewed cup to cool slightly before tasting — the jasmine, peach, and bergamot notes become more pronounced as the temperature drops. The Keurig's consistent water temperature ensures a balanced extraction that showcases these signature florals.

Pairing Suggestions: Best enjoyed on its own to fully appreciate its complexity. If pairing, choose light accompaniments such as white chocolate, fresh stone fruit, or a mild honey cake.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from heat, light, and moisture. Due to the exceptional rarity of this coffee, consume within 2–3 weeks of roast date for the fullest expression of flavor. For extended freshness, store in the freezer.

Origin & Region

Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala

This blend sources from Brazilian farms in Cerrado's mechanized agricultural systems, Mexican cooperatives in Chiapas focused on organic and sustainable practices, and Guatemalan producers in the volcanic soil regions of Antigua and Huehuetenango. These three origins provide reliable sourcing from well-established coffee-growing areas with strong farmer networks.

Altitude & Processing

900-2,000 MASL (meters above sea level)

This dark roast blend combines Brazilian beans (900-1,400m) using pulped natural processing for chocolate richness and body, Mexican beans (1,300-1,750m) washed for structural balance, and Guatemalan beans (1,500-2,000m) washed for complexity. The varied processing methods develop into a bold, full-bodied dark roast that maintains origin character while delivering the robust intensity expected from this roast level.
